This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translating media on their website. They have tried to manually translate media through the 'media translation' section, but it does not offer translation options. Additionally, there are discrepancies in image visibility and translation across different languages.
Solution:
1. If the client wishes to use the same images across different languages with automatic text translation, they should disable the WPML Media add-on. Instead, they should enable the setting 'Translate media library texts with posts' found under WPML > Settings. After enabling this, they need to make a minor change to the default language page (like updating the title) and resend the page for translation via WPML > Translation Management > Assign to yourself.
2. Then, proceed to WPML > Translation > Take and translate it. This should allow the text on images to be translated or automatically translated if automatic translation is enabled.
3. If images display correctly in the backend but not on the translated page, this might be due to incorrect settings or issues with ACF translation settings. In such cases, opening a new support ticket is recommended.
Please check our related documentation on Media Translation.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Symptoms:
Translation of Media does not work correctly. Even when I open the 'media translation' section and try to translate manually, it does not offer me translation.

Questions:
Why does the media translation not offer me translation options?
What might be wrong with my settings that is causing this issue?
I need you to login and check my settings please...

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

That is expected and how WPML Media add-on works, it is intended to add different images per language and then translate it via WPML > Media translation.

If you wish to translate automatically image text, and use same image on both language, then you do not this add-on. You can select from WPML > Settings > Translate media library texts with posts, and then retranslate your page via ATE editor and text should show up for translation or be automatically translated if you have automatic translation enabled.

Please check our related docs:

Hello,

1) As I have said I am not sure how you are translating the page.

If you are translating via WPML Advanced translation editor, you can enable setting I mentioned and then make a small change to your default language page, for example title and resend page for translation via WPML > Translation Management > Assign to your self.

Then go to WPML > Translation > Take and translate it.

2) It depends how you are adding and showing images. If they show fine in backend when you edit translated page, then it is up to your code.

I would make sure you have correct image in backend in translated page, if not then it might be another issue with ACF translation settings and I advise to open new ticket once we solve this issue or I can open it for you once we done here. We limit 1 issue per ticket to keep things clear and easier to follow.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

thank you so much. its resolved now.
there is a little conflict in WPbakery galery module, when I upload images during a editation it will not translate the text.
I have to upload it before in a WP multimedia folder and then apply it...
Its ok. thanx
