Hello there,

I just checked the categories in your site and on arabic I don't see any English category, so did you deleted the categories after the import?

Is Medical Equipment final - dec 18.csv is the file with the issue?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Please check under the arabic products as in the screeshot in the category column you will see the Arabic categories and then only one English category in each product. That's the issue it should only show Arabic categories.

Hello there,

Can you check the issue now. I followed the below steps:

- Went to WPML->Settings->Post Type Translations and set "Products" as translatable (first option)

- Went to WPML->Settings->Taxonomy Translations and set "product categories as translatable (first option)

- Went to WPML->support->Troubleshooting and selected product and synchronized the categories.

Let me know if's okay now.

Thanks

Hello there,

Thank you for the input, can you try to reimport with the product and product categories settings again once, you can start with the csv file that has the issue and see if re-importing works?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hi, the issue is still there, i tried uploading the first 150 products in 3 batches of 50. All of them have the same issue where there is one category of english in the arabic language. I then tried to syncronize the products like how you did it, and it made it worse. Can you please advise.

I was wondering if there is a way to maybe import the english products first and then import the arabic and then sync them somehow?

Yes, you can do so by following the steps as mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-export-and-import/preparing-import-files-for-wpml-export-and-import/

I also suggest you to import the taxonomies first and then products to see if it helps. You can find more about how to do this in the documentation above.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
