This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You need help with re-registering your site with a new WPML site key without affecting your existing translations.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to re-register your site:
1. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites/, and delete your old site key in the WPML account.
2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab. There, click 'Unregister WPML from this site.'
3. After the page loads, click on 'Register WPML.' You will see a message asking you to enter the site key. Click on 'Get a key for this site.'
4. Complete the site key wizard in your WPML account and set it to the Production site.
5. Copy your new key and paste it into the Commercial tab.
6. Assign credits to your site.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
