Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will be happy to help you.

In order to keep the language of the WordPress dashboard in English you can:

* Un-check the option: "User profile set editing language as admin language also.", as this will change the language of the dashboard depending on the language you are editing the website.

After, follow these steps:

- go to WP-Admin -> Users (select the user you want to do the change)
- on the section "Language" select the language you need (English in your case)
- click "Update profile" at the bottom of the page

For more detailed information you can check the link:https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/setting-the-wordpress-administration-language/#how-users-set-their-administration-language

Let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,
Marsel

In order to investigate this issue and understand it better, I would need a temporary access to your website.

Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.

I would need to access your site's WP-admin.
Your next reply is set to private for you to provide the username and password details.

Thanks,
Marsel

Thanks for providing the access on the website.

I was able to check the website and you just needed to un-check the option "User profile set editing language as admin language also.", as I mentioned previously.
(please check the video: hidden link)

I left the option needed un-checked so it should be working as you needed now.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Regards,
Marsel

Hi,

I was able to check further by creating a new page an translate it form EN->AR, and the dashboard seems to show correctly (only in english in both languages).
*I deleted the page as I noticed it was automatically added to the main menu.

It seems that the problem is only with the homepage (as I checked the custom post types and they show up correctly).

1) Could you please try clearing the cache of the website from the server (if there is any cache mechanism in place).

2) Can you please check if the issue persists when switching to a default WP theme and disabling all non related plugins to WPML?

Looking forward to your reply,
Marsel

Hi,

Was it possible to check if the issue persists when switching to a default WP theme and disabling all non related plugins to WPML?

That will help check that the issue is not related to any compatibility issue with the theme or any other plugins in use.

Let me know how it goes,
Marsel

Hello,

I tried with your solution using default theme as well but still it's not working. This is happening in Home page.

Thank You

I did some more testing and when disabling the ACF plugin it works correctly (as you can see), I would suggest you update the plugin to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

* I disabled the ACF/ACFM plugin (as seen in the attached image) so you can check that it is working and that the issue much probably is related to the ACF plugin.

Let me know how it goes,
Marsel
