Thank you for your response. I've reviewed your screen recording and understand the issue. It appears you'll need to manually remove the data. Please add these languages first, and then proceed to delete them manually. |

This really does not make sense. We purchased translation plugin as a solution. I will not do work like betatester for WPML and pay for it! At least I want the support who will give me the functional SQL query to fix this mess without any other stupid experiments... |

Thank you for your response. It seems there might be a misunderstanding. What I meant is that although the languages are currently stuck and cannot be fully removed, we can easily re-add the language and manually delete Categories, Navigation Menus, Portfolio Categories, and Tags. I'm not requesting to restore the languages along with the deleted media/posts/pages. Regarding your request for an SQL query to remove these items, could you please provide access to your server database so that I can escalate this to our 2nd Tier Support for review? Dario, who is from the development team, is unavailable for direct support. However, once we involve our 2nd Tier Support, we can ensure thorough assistance. If Dario's specific expertise is needed for your website, I will make sure he looks into it. |

I apologize, but I consulted the procedure in advance so as not to do something about 4 days completely unnecessary. We're at point 2 and that's exactly what happened... |

Thank you for your response. Understood. Point 2, delete the original languages in CTE including the EN DE RU FR translations - only CZ (original) and ES (ATE) will remain. CLI or python script will be needed. Could you please provide access to your server database so I can escalate this to our 2nd Tier Support for review? I will ask them to investigate why it’s getting stuck during deletion. I already have your WP admin access. For safety, please ensure a full backup is performed. |

3142 media files (including preview sizes) were deleted during the language deletion. This is fine because they were assigned to a language other than Czech as the primary language. This could have been about 285 images. 1) When I search for an image title in the media gallery, I see the correct image and two non-previewed ones with the same title. This means that with the removal of the languages, the faulty duplicate media entries were not deleted. |

Thanks for your reply. I'm still waiting for a response from our 2nd Tier Support to check on the language deletion issue. Regarding your reported issues above, I would probably split the issues into separate tickets so that we could follow up accordingly. Also, keep in mind that our support policy allows us to take care of only one issue per ticket. Continuing with one issue per ticket helps not only supporters to focus on one issue at once, but also enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster. In the meantime, I'll try to answer your questions accordingly and we'll see if we need to split these issues into separate tickets. 1) When I search for an image title in the media gallery, I see the correct image and two non-previewed ones with the same title. 2) When synchronizing the changes in ATE, the editor loads and many blocks are in unsaved state, even though they are translated and have been translated. Further, I noticed that many blocks were disconnected as they are blocks that contain links and the URL has currently changed on the site. This means that you can't work on translations on the staging version with a different URL, as if these links are saved in the translation memory, they will show up in the live version. 3) Many of the blocks are there multiple times, and that really doesn't make sense at all. |

Thank you for your response. I’ve received feedback from our 2nd Tier Support, and they confirmed that this is a known issue where taxonomies are not removed. This includes navigation menus and categories, which are types of taxonomies. Our developers are actively working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, you'll have to use the method I shared previously to remove these data. |

Hello Kor, ad 1) screenshot provided, but the existing image has been renamed so it is gone. Never mind I made own solution to delete all image which cannot be loaded by CLI script. Without DB analysis you cannot help me anyway. ad 2) This means that you can't work on translations on the staging version with a different URL, as if these links are saved in the translation memory, they will show up in the live version. If this is expected, the whole idea to make translation on staging site is completely wrong and it means that designed procedure is completely nonsense. Please consult whole procedure and diagnostic with L2. ad 3) This ticket is the last chance to keep this site on WPML, otherwise I have to migrate to another solution. I need to get the procedure which leads to smooth working system and not to other tickets on the support. You can report the incomplete deletion of translation as a bug, because it was not expected behavior (but they know I see). I am reverting staging to the 22nd of July. |

Hello, let's make a new plan which will align all bugs and features of WPML. Pleas consult this setup and try to complete details. I tried to use WPML import export but I am not sure with the setup to export / import only original or original and Spanish language. It is sure, that export / import will create valid WP content with perfect data integrity? |

Could you specify the procedure? It appears you'll need to manually remove the data. |

Revisions and additions Process testing: In order to use ATE for all languages, we'll have to do it on the main URL. However, it would be possible to do a complete backup of the site and gradually redo the old translations into ATE. Once we have redone everything, a delete and re-creation of the languages could be done. In fact, the translations would remain in the cloud and would be restored. But the media would be duplicated again and then have different IDs, here it is not clear to me what would happen. Another possible course of action would be to create a copy of the site and redirect the traffic using htaccess or PHP so that traffic from non-logged-in users is redirected to the copy of the site. This would remain as it is now and we would work on any changes directly on the main site. This redirection would be reversed once the site modifications are complete and the translations are migrated to ATE. Questions for support. Will the newly translated pages in ATE have the same URL as now? And images? I am asking to deal with traffic and links to our site. Is there a support thread on how to use CTE without random disconnecting translations, which we have been dealing with for many years? Is this issue possible to detect using SQL query? My understanding is that CTE is not and will not be reliable anymore, but maybe there is some specific filter settings and WP behavior that would solve the problems. |
