This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
No option to edit a button's URL link

Solution:
First of all please make sure that target page is translated completely (there's no plus or circular arrows for the translation).

Then when translating in Advanced Translation Editor, try to search for the URL in editor's search box (not browser search).

Hi code masters 🙂

I am developing and translating my first website; I am an absolute newbie.
I am working on a staged site.
So far everything has worked fine but now…

I am trying to:
To translate the link of a button so that I can assign to it the URL corresponding to the Spanish version of a file.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
<hidden link;.
The button is called "Eguteran Building Quality Report".

I expected to see:
The field corresponding to that button's URL link, so that I can edit it.

Instead, I got:
No option to edit that button's URL link.

In all other buttons, the section to edit their URL link is shown.

Please, can you help me resolve this issue?

Thank you so much.

* Thank you for developing such a great software like WPML.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

First of all please make sure that target page is translated completely (there's no plus or circular arrows for the translation).

Then when translating in Advanced Translation Editor, try to search for the URL in editor's search box (not browser search). See https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/#translating-urls-with-the-advanced-translation-editor for details.

Please let me know if it helps fixing the problem or I'll try my best to further assist you on the matter.

Regards.
