Hi WPML Support! as you would expect I am using WPML. I make translations manually for each page. When editing in Live editor sometimes (not on every page, just on some) I get this message: Attention: You are trying to add a translation using the Fusion Builder Live editor, but your site is configured to use the WPML Translation Editor. For example: I can edit in Live editor the pages "Home" and "About", but all the pages in the category "Products" I can only edit in english in the Live editor, but not the other languages. Afterwards it is not possible to edit those pages in Live editor. What can I do to solve this? All pages I created are set as "translate individually". |

Hello, welcome to the WPML support Forum! While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly. It seems that this page was translated with the translation editor before, and now you are trying to edit the page using the manual editor. That`s ok, you just need to click in the "edit anyway" button and then edit the page. Does it work for you? Please check this documentation to see ho to correctly enable the manual editor: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/ PS: It`s not recommended to mix translation modes in the same page (e.g. translate using the translation editor, then modify using manual editor, then edit with translation editor again). |

Hello Diego, thanks for your answer. Please tell me where can I find the "edit anyway" button. Anyhow, it's not shown where the attention message occurs. |

Hello There, The "Edit anyway" button is displayed only when you attempt to modify a translated page from the backend. As you're using the "Live Builder" of the Avada theme for editing, simply press the "OK" button beneath the attention message. This action will dismiss the message and you'll be able to edit the translated page as per your needs. For a better understanding, please check this screenshot: hidden link As mentioned by Diego in a previous message, please don't use mix translation mode to translate the page/post as changes will be overwritten when you update the translation using the Translation editor. I hope you can understand. Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. Best Regards, |

Hello Prosenjit, unfortunately I am NOT able to edit anything in the Live editor after pressing the OK button. The messages disappears, yeah that is right, and it seems like I am in Live editor mode but when I try to change anything just nothing happens (the settings/options box, which normally appears on the left to make the desired changes just noct appears). I made you a screenshot: I want to edit Live the german language (which is a transation from english) and thats what I see when I click OK and the message disappears. For normal I would click the pen (red arrow) and make the settings/options appear in the box on the left to edit the image, but in my case just nothing happens. I already asked the Avada support for help, but they recommended to ask at WPML support since it is a WPML problem. |

Hello There, I can understand the issue you're having. To confirm if the issue is really happening due to the WPML plugin, would you please disable the WPML plugin and then try to edit the German page using the Live editor? That specific German page will be available in the "Pages" section along with other pages. If the issue persists even after that, it will mean that something else is causing the issue here. Except for WPML and Avada Addons, please keep other plugins disabled and check again. If that solves the issue, start activating the plugins one by one and after activating each, check if the issue reappears or not. In this way, you'll be able to pinpoint the one that is causing the issue. Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best Regards. |
