This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using WordPress with ACF and WPML for translating your homepage. You've noticed that not all media files are being copied to the translation, particularly those in repeater fields. Some media files do not appear in the translated language Media library, and some lack editing form fields like the ALT attribute.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML > Settings > Media Translation section.
2. Enable the following options:
- Translate existing media in all languages
- Duplicate existing media for translated content
- Duplicate the featured images for translated content
- When uploading media to the Media library, make it available in all languages
- Duplicate media attachments for translations
- Duplicate featured images for translations
3. Click on 'Start' to duplicate images into second languages and 'Apply' for the other settings.
4. Update the ACF Multilingual plugin to the new version 2.1.3 and check if the issue persists.
5. If specific media differentiation per language is needed, consider using the WPML Media Translation plugin.
6. To translate image info (title, description, etc.) along with the post, enable the option 'Translate media library texts with posts' on the page WPML > Settings.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
We are using WordPress with ACF and WPML. I am making a translation of the homepage using a duplicate content checkbox. All media files defined as Image ACF fields get copied. The issue is with repeater attached media.

Symptoms:
Not all media are being copied to translation. Some media files do not appear in the translated language Media library, and some do not have all the editing form fields, such as the ALT attribute.

Questions:
How to unlock all attributes during the process of media editing? Shouldn't all media appear in Media library of the translation?

Hi Long! Thanks for prompt reply. All the settings already are set like You pointed, but one. We specifically don't want the "When uploading media to the Media library, make it available in all languages" setting to be on. We have a lot of multilangual content that we don't want all the media to be copied. Also Ive updated the ACFML plugin. That didn't solved the issue. I should have pointed that those images in the repeater field are displaying conditionaly. Might this be an issue? However SOME of the images get copied to new language media library. Also we need to be able to translate the medias title. When accessing the media editing dialogue from Media library we can see fully working popup form with those fields enabled for editing, but not all media files are present in Media library. The problem with attachment edit form only persist in page editing form when we access the form using the pencil icon on the image inside repeater field.

Hi,

It is recommended to enable the option "When uploading media to the Media library, make it available in all languages" to copy the image to other languages. The duplication is the entry in the database, not the file itself. Let me know if you enable that option > Update the post and the issue is solved.

If you want to have different images per language, you can use the plugin WPML Media Translation https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

If you want to translate image info (title, description ...) along with the post, please enable the option "Translate media library texts with posts" on the page WPML > Settings.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Just refreshing so the bot won't close the issue. We can't set the When uploading media to the Media library, make it available in all languages setting to On. We are working on Your third recommendation to "Translate media library texts with posts". Thank You!
