Background of the issue:
On our blog page, we have a testimonial carousel that displays reviews of customers. In the original language (Dutch), this works fine. But when using a translated page, for example, English, the URL format is incorrect when I press the next/previous buttons underneath the carousel.
Symptoms:
When I'm on the English translated blog page and I hover over the number 2, it displays this URL hidden link which is correct and displays the correct page. However, when I hover over the Next button, it displays the following URL hidden link, which is not correct.
Questions:
Why is the URL format incorrect on the Next and Previous buttons in the translated page?
How can I fix the URL formatting issue on the carousel navigation buttons?
Thank you for contacting WPML support.
While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps or if I can help with the issue quickly.
Can you please check if it works if you:
- Go to WPML -> Languages -> Language URL Format
- And select Different languages in directories
Is the pagination a default feature of the theme? The7, right? If not, how did you set it?
Best Regards,
Otto
