This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where clicking on the PayPal express button on translated product pages leads to an incorrect URL.

Solution:
We reviewed the client's debug information and noticed they are using a plugin that is not officially compatible with WPML. We recommend reaching out to the plugin author to see if they have a workaround or are willing to make the plugin WPML compatible through our GoGlobal program (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/).

Additionally, we suggest exploring other similar plugins that may be more up-to-date and have a higher chance of working seamlessly with WPML. It's worth checking with these plugin authors and conducting tests to find a suitable alternative.

Please note that the solution provided might not be applicable due to being outdated or not relevant to your specific case. If this is the case, we highly recommend checking related known issues (https://wpml.org/known-issues/), verifying the version of the permanent fix, and ensuring that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. If you continue to face issues, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket. For further assistance, you can reach out to us on the WPML support forum (https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/).

Hello,

thanks for the patience, I will be taking over the case further.

Can you please explain how are you adding this button to your default language product page? Using some addon, code or this is standard WooCommerce settings?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hello,

I checked your debug info and I can see you using the next plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/express-checkout/, as I can see the plugin seems to not be supported or tested for a longer time, also it is not on our officially compatible plugins lists (https://wpml.org/plugin/) so some issues can happen.

The best I can advise is to contact the plugin author and see if they have a workaround to suggest or if they wish to collaborate and make it WPML compatible they can join our GoGlobal program and we will be glad to help (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/)

Another thing, I see there are many similar plugins with more installs and support, even if they are not on our list there is a good chance they will work fine. I suggest checking with other plugin authors and testing if they work fine for you.

Hope this helps and you understand our side here 🙂

Regards,
Drazen
