This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues after mistakenly putting your site into production mode and are concerned about losing changes when switching back to development mode, we have a solution for you.
Solution:
First, visit your WPML.org account and navigate to the Sites section. Here, you should remove the old key that you were using on the other domain. Next, generate a new key for the domain you wish to use. After generating the new key, return to your website's backend, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial, and register WPML with the new key. If necessary, click "Unregister" before registering the new key.
Rest assured, your translations are safely stored in the database, so you can remove the old key and add a new one without risking the loss of your translated content.
If this solution doesn't seem relevant to your situation, please don't hesitate to open a new support ticket with us.
