Hello,

We’ve recently managed to resolve some issues with the WPML forms integration — thank you for the helpful documentation.

However, we are now encountering a new problem:
Whenever we try to edit a page (for example, to update or change the recruiters listed on a translated page), we receive a warning that all translations will be lost if we proceed.

To be clear, we do not edit the pages through Elementor. We always use WPML’s translation editor to make any changes. Still, the warning persists and prevents us from making necessary updates.

This is highly problematic, as we need to make regular updates across multiple languages.

Is there a way to edit the original content safely without breaking the translations? Or is there a recommended workflow for such cases?

Additionally, we’re wondering if it’s possible to speak directly with a WPML developer or expert, as the constant issues are significantly slowing down our workflow.

Thanks for your reply. Editing the primary(original) language should not display the error message you mentioned. Could you tell me which page you are editing so that I could check what's going on?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, that's the default behaviour if you edit a translated page without using the "Advanced Translation Editor". If you wish to manually edit the translated page, you need to switch it to the manual translation as explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/
