This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client has set Georgian as the default language on their site and wants the site to display Georgian at the root URL (https://advokatisk.ge/) and English at https://advokatisk.ge/en/. However, the site defaults to the English URL, and the language switcher does not show other languages.
Solution:
We recommend the client to ensure that Georgian is correctly set as the default language in the WPML settings. It's also crucial to verify that the Language URL format is properly configured to support different languages in directories. If these settings are correct and the issue persists, we suggest checking the .htaccess file for any incorrect rewrite rules that might be redirecting to the English version by default. Additionally, clearing the browser cache and the WPML cache can help resolve any residual configuration issues.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, or if the solution seems outdated or not applicable to your case, please visit our support forum to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
