Show country code in language switcher

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I want to show the country code in the language switcher. For example DE FR instead of Deutsch Francais or flags. Currently, I cannot find any options to do that.

Solution:
You can achieve this by editing the values of the "Translation" column in WPML > Languages > Edit Languages. Please check here: https://cdn.wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/11225047-Change_lang_names.png

Mohamed Sayed	Hi Anton, Thanks for contacting WPML support. Could you please tell me if you managed to replace the language names with code? I checked the site and the language switcher already shows the codes DE/FR. Please check the attached image. Regards, Mohamed

antonD-14	The screenshot is from vespa.swiss. Thats a Joomla page. I‘m recreating a similar page in WP which is currently running under vespa.preview.anton.bz I couldn‘t find a solution.

Mohamed Sayed	Hi, You can achieve this by editing the values of the "Translation" column in WPML > Languages > Edit Languages (Please check the attached screenshot). Kindly note that those changes will be applied to all the language switchers on your site. Regards, Mohamed
