Another thing that pops into our third-tier support's mind regarding your site hosted on Siteground is to test with disabled Siteground caching. There might be a collision with the caching settings that causes the performance issue. Since we didn't test your site on Siteground, we couldn't "catch" this issue.
From what I can see in our internal documentation about your case, your site is also experiencing a performance issue known to us. It is related to WPML's function Sitepress::get_term_adjust_id. But it is indefinite how much effect it has on your site. The fix for this problem is supposed to be included in the next version of WPML - 4.6.8.
In addition to the above, we are also checking the possibility of providing you with the fix I mentioned - Sitepress::get_term_adjust_id. We're waiting for the response from our developer on this.
Look, i dont know anything about coding and im notfamiliar with blackfire - I also dont understand what exactly you want me to do.

So its not my hosting siteground nor anything else thats causing the problems- im pretty sure its WPML that is causing the problems. (as I have also tested to do it on the main website by deactivating and delting all other languages)
Feel free to install anyprogramm that you want to my website- I can also give you access to my siteground if this helps you to find a solution.
But I dont fully understand what you need me to do - is it just installing blackfire to my wordpress?

I've installed the developers' version on your staging site. It is version 4.6.6-p.1. Please see the attached screenshot. As far as I can tell, there is an improvement in performance.

Our third-tier supporter says that this is a great improvement and also fixed the performance problem. He adds that, indeed, WPML adds to the loading time, but from 2.24 (without WPML) to 2.54 (with the beta that we gave), the difference is normal and expected. Please understand that any plugin you add and activate on your site adds some time to the loading time.
The stable version with the fix will be included in future releases of WPML. I think it is going to be included in the next version of WPML, but I can't promise that. It depends on our developers' decision. I'll update you here once this version is released. If you want to use the beta version on your production site, please know that it is not yet fully tested. We recommend not using beta versions on production sites. But if you use it, you should accept the risks involved. You should also ensure that the option in WPML > Languages > Make themes work multilingual is disabled. On your staging site, I disabled it.
