I have good news. Please follows these steps: - Go to WPML >> Settings, open "Custom XML Configuration" tab and paste the code below and save <wpml-config> <gutenberg-blocks> <gutenberg-block type="kadence/infobox" translate="1"> <xpath>//div/a/@href</xpath> <xpath>//*[@class="kt-blocks-info-box-title"]</xpath> <xpath>//*[@class="kt-blocks-info-box-text"]</xpath> <xpath>//div[@class="kt-infobox-textcontent"]</xpath> <xpath>//span[@class="kt-blocks-info-box-learnmore"]</xpath> </gutenberg-block> </gutenberg-blocks> </wpml-config> - Open the homepage in the original language, make a tiny change and save (you can remove the change and re-save) - Open the translation editor and complete translations - Info box should be translated now Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed. |

Dear Andrey, THANK YOU VERY MUCH - we tried it on the first page and a subpage, and it worked. We will have to do it manually on quite many pages, since most of our 43 pages (x 3 languages) have these info boxes - so we'll notify you once everything is done. Just a few lines of code... miraculous. Many thanks again. |

Thank you for your feedback. It's nice to hear that it works now. I have reported this to our compatibility team. Yes, this should be handled by our or the theme author's side in the future. Anyway, you are good while the snippet is in the "Custom XML Configuration" tab. The code snippet will stay there even after the plugin update. |

Dear Andrej, first of all, thank you very much for your help and for finding a solution. It was a bit of a lengthy ordeal to fix all pages, and we had to "heal" several translation pages which gave a 404 errors for some translation issue, but now everything works. Two last questions: 1. Can we reactivate the Page Optimize plugin again or do you advise against that? 2. This was a bit of a shock and the page looked horrible for half a month to Swedish & German visitors (Swedes are our main & most important audience by far), plus we lost a LOT of time fixing something that should work. Would it be possible to get a partial refund or a discount on our next invoice as a sign of customer service and as an compensation? Very glad that our experience also contributed to making the WPML product better overall, we are normally very content with how the system works. Let's hope this glitch was a one off. All the best |

Hi Carmen, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. I'm checking with the team to see if there is a possibility of what you are asking. Thank you for using WPML. I do not see any objecting regarding the Page Optimize plugin unless a visual editing issue. |
