Hello,

I'm translating my website with WPML and it was working fine. However, some of the strins/words in the frontend do not appear translated.

You can check in yntenzo.com, when you click the english flag on the top, the "button" to log in still says "iniciar sessão" in portuguese. The same thing happens in the popup side menu. The carrousel showing products of the month says "produto do mês" in portuguese instead of "product of the month". These are widgets from the same plugin: jetblocks/jetelements.

Also, in the portuguese original version, the homepage has 4 sections (3 images + footer). The last one, the footer, is a elementor model section. When you visit the english version, this section completely disappears.

Please help. This could be one me not knowing how to properly configurate things. I had a problema with jetwoobuilder but I searched for it and I needed to activate the translations for that plugin and it solved the issue. Maybe this could be something similar.

Hello Pedro,

Thank you for contacting the support.

For JetElements, I'll advise to check this guide hidden link for details.

For Elementor, please see https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/ and follow along.

You may need to register some widgets to make them work properly with WPML. This is common and not an issue because there are new widgets being added and/or an update may bring changes to existing one. Follow this guide https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/how-to-add-wpml-support-to-custom-elementor-widgets/ if that's the case.

Besides these, I ‘ll advise you to fix “WP Memory Limit” to at least 128MB while 256MB is recommended. See https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/ for detailed information. You can set this in your wp-config.php file by adding following code:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

Remember to add these lines before the line where it says:
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */

Please let me know and I'll try my best to further assist you on the matter.

Regards.

Hello Waqas,

Thanks for your answer. I'll check the links and try to get it working. Letting u know that I've already fixed the missing section.

Already increased the memory limit to 256mb, however, overall, wpml seemed to slow down my website a bit.

Meawhile, I have 2 more questions:

I use NextMove Lite for WooCommerce to build the thank you page. From what I can see, the page created by this plugin is translated (i searched for plugin strings, updated the settings, and the page appears between the others in tranlation panel). However when I make a purchase in the translated language, when I finish checkout, it redirects to a broken link 404 instead of the translated thank you page. Could this be a compatibility issue? A problem with links? In the original language version is working perfectly fine.

The other one is in checkout. I managed to translate the sentence before accepting terms and conditions. But I can't translate the final sentence with the checkbox saying "I've read and accept the terms...".

Can you help with this ones?

Thank you for the updates.

Sure, please take your time to read, understand and apply the solutions from the guides. And feel free to ask where the help is needed.

About "NextMove Lite for WooCommerce", I am afraid this could be a compatibility problem, because the plugin isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/plugin/). I'll advise to check with the plugin author.

You can also check with WPML, WooCommerce and this plugin only to see if there's nothing else creating this problem. REMEMBER to take full backup of site and DB before this.

If issue remains intact, I recommend opening a separate ticket because as per forum policy we can only handle one issue per ticket. So others looking for a particular solution can find it easily.

About "I've read and accept the terms..." string, perhaps the same goes here as mentioned in my previous message. Like if it is coming through a widget or block it may need to be taken care accordingly. Or you can scan the theme and plugins for new strings and then can search/translate in String Translation. See following guides too:

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Hi again,

I've managed to fix some problems.

However, I'm still having problems with jetplugins. Tried everything to find the strings but nothing...

I've scanned the plugins, I activated the search and visited the pages, I've looked up on the admin panel for not added strings and nothing. It's like they do not exist.

One string is the button "Iniciar Sessão" from JetBlocks. This one I can't find at all.

The other string is "Produto do Mês" under the carousel in the side menu. This one I can find, i've translated it, but it doesn't show up translated on the frontend.

What to do in this case?

Thank you for the updates.

May I ask for admin access to your website to check the issue in detail? You can create a separate admin user for this purpose, which can be deleted afterwards.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in admin and on frontend.

Remember to take full backup of your website and database before proceeding. However, a staging/test site is highly recommended, because I may need to try some changes/fixes on the site (including plugins & themes deactivation), which may cause conflicts with the live site otherwise.

Please confirm it in your next reply or let me know if you do not agree with the mentioned.
