I've got another problem with this. I need to change a location rule but after I save it it's back the old one. If I disable the plugin 'Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual' I can change the rule and it is saved. Can you help please?

do you mean to change location rule on your translated ACF field group or? Since it should be possible to change in regular ACF field groups.

I am asking this because I see you have set ACF field groups to be translatable, which is not recommended procedure an can cause issues. In addition to that, it is expected location rule is same as the one in your default language.

Hi, the ACF field groups are not translatable. So that can't be te problem. (see image attached)
It is just with one ACF that I can't change the location rule. With all the rest there is no problem. So if I change the location rules 'bericht taxonomie' it will not save. (see image attached). But if I disable the plugin 'Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual' it works. So can you help please.

Sure, I will be glad to help.

Can you please follow the next steps to confirm issue is not being caused by some other plugin or custom theme.

Please make a backup before proceeding.

1) Please change your theme to the WP default theme and check if the issue happens.

2) Can you please check if the issue happens when only WPML plugins and ACF activated, all other plugins disabled?

Hello,

Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
If possible please provide access to the staging website, not production.

Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.

I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.

I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.

I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.

I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.

You can safely add your information into these fields.

thanks, I checked and I suspect there is some corruption with this field group since the same rule can not be removed at all.

It works fine if you create a new field group, can you let me know fi that is a valid workaround for you?

If not, let me know if it is okay to take a copy of your website so I can check it out further.

Hello,

It is not a solution to create a new one, since it is already filled in for quite a few products (when everything was in order and the correct site category was selected). Otherwise I would not have needed support.

So you may certainly investigate this further.

I understand.

I am trying to install Duplicator to take a copy and check but seems my user doesn't have access to the Add New Plugin menu.

To speed things up, can you please create a duplicator copy without (filer out) the wp-uploads folder and share it with me, or let me know when it is done and I will download it from your website.

I need to confirm and further debug the issue, then if nothing helps fix the issue, I would need to take a copy and escalate it to our 2nd tier.

I am afraid there is no other way around this, as these are the next steps and need to proceed further.

I suggest either trying and create a staging site or providing a Duplicator copy and I will deploy it on our side and check further.
