Problem:
The client wants to disable the WPML WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin and is unsure how to proceed.
Solution:
If you're experiencing the same issue and wish to disable the WPML WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin, we recommend the following steps:
1. Go to your site's backend.
2. Navigate to the 'Plugins' section.
3. Locate the WPML WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin.
4. Click 'Disable' to deactivate the plugin.
5. If you also want to remove the plugin completely, click 'Delete' after deactivating it.

Please note that this solution might not be relevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. How do I disable WPML WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency - never asked for it and don't want it as of now.

Hi there.

This is what that plugin add-on does:

It is recommended to be used when you have a WooCommerce store and you want to translate specific areas or use different currencies per language.

If you don't want to use it, you can navigate to your site's backend > Plugins > Find the plugin > Disable + delete it.

I'm kinda stunned I couldn't figure that out myself but at the same time your warning terminology is wrong.

Because the notification says "WooCommerce Multilingual and Multicurrency is enabled but requires WooCommerce..." I assumed it was a feature built into the plugin and didn't realize it was a separate plug in.

I suggest you change change the warning phrasing say, "The WooCommerce Multilingual and Multicurrency plug-in is activated... [etc]."

Either way, WPML still has great support!
