Split: language switcher names

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Is there a way I can simplify language name e.g. EN?

Solution:

You can edit the name for each language by going to WPML → Languages and clicking on the Edit languages link. There you can change the translation of language and set what you need, for example only EN.

kateW-2	Hi, I have translated MemberPress plugin's text on string translation for the registration fields but the pages are not showing on the front end. Is there a setting that I can enable that? Besides, for the language switcher, I have selected the name English and Chinese text but it takes up too much space on the menu bar. Is there a way I can simplify it e.g. EN and 繁中 (two characters instead of 4 in the default?). Or I shall totally switch to flag only? Please advise. Thanks, Kate
