This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is preparing a website with only one language installed/active and is encountering notices related to the need for configuring additional languages to access 'Theme and plugins localization' and 'Media translation'. Additionally, editors receive a notice about using the Category translation table when accessing post categories, which they do not have permission to access.
Solution:
We recommend activating an additional language but keeping it hidden to avoid these notices. WPML allows the hiding of languages on the front end, which can help in preventing these messages without fully implementing a multilingual setup. For detailed steps on how to hide languages, please visit https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/hiding-languages-on-the-front-end/.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
