Please check our guide on translating and syncing WordPress menus and see if it helps resolve the issue with the sidebar menus: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/. Regarding the strings in the sidebar, are you referring to the ones in the attached screenshot? Please check the following guide on how to find strings that do not appear in Strings Translation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#register-admin-and-setting-strings-for-translation.
