Hey, Osama, what's going on. You have n ot given me any feed back. Nor a solution for what is going wrong with slug translation.
BTW: I have given you admin access. Have you used it? Have you checked the error-report (screenshot added)?
I would be VERRRY happy for a solution to this issue!
Best regards
Olaf

Hi Olaf,
1) The slugs are translated. Please check this hidden link">page in both languages.
The issue is that it's not translated in the translation editor. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
2) The recent error says that a job is resent to ATE, and I checked the job ID on our ATE internal system, and there is no issue inside the job. If you send a page for translation and the process doesn't work as expected, please let me know the page URL so I can review it.
Best regards,
Osama

Thank you for the hint, Osama,
I have reactivated automatic translation. Now I see this error:
WPML has attempted to translate this page three times and failed. To resolve this, please contact WPML support (see image).
Could you PLEASE help me here? I get errors no end. And I need a solution.

Hi, Osman,
please read our previous conversation. Slugs (= names of pages) are NOT being translated automatically in all cases. I sent you screenshots.
I also told you I did not set up the site. So I am not sure what was done.
Some pages have their slugs translated, some not, e.g.
hidden link =
hidden link
That is not okay! When I go look for the page's translation and maybe try to translate manually WPML cannot find it (see screen).
And there is a ton of errrors ( see screens also). Why are these there?
I gave you admin access.
Could you please check yourself? I am not the expert here (unfortunately 😉
Thank you.

I have to go away now for a couple of hours. Please take your time and check what is wrong with translating the site.
Sincerely

Hi Olaf,
1) Please check the filter on the Translation Dashboard page when you search for a page. (Kindly check this hidden link">screenshot)
2) Please go to WPML-> Settings-> Page URL, you will see that the "Translate (this will include the slug in the translation and not create it automatically from the title)" option is selected, which means that you need to translate the slug in the translation editor. (Kindly check the attached screenshots)
After translating the page slug, you would need to translate the page that contains the button to add the correct slug there.
Best regards,
Osama

Thank you, Osman, I understand what you mean. I have switched to standard/automatic translation for URLs.
The links in French lead to the translated content, all right. But the URLs are not translated into French. I need this to be done; otherwise, it's awkward for French users.
Can you tell me how to fix that?
Best regards, thank you,
Olaf

Hi Olaf,
For existing translations, please edit the translated page in the WP editor and update the slug.
