This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I need to change a translation but can't find it in string translations.. perhaps it's somewhere else? Should be En venta instead if 'para vender'. How do I change this?

Solution: I found that this label was a taxonomy, so I changed it and the issue was solved.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you tell me which kind of information is this? Is this text within a post/page content? Is it a custom field? A taxonomy?

Maybe by describing the steps to edit this string I can get enough information to provide a solution.

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hmm I am not sure but it's part of the property detail section, see - hidden link

Don't think it's taxonomy. So must be custom field?

I can't see "property status", see screen shot - the other bits seem to be in there but all seem to have 'translate' ticked..? Please advise?

Hi,

Please click on 'Show system fields' link and search again. Do you see the custom field this time?

Also, have you look into the admin texts? Please follow the steps described in this link and let me know if you find the string: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/#admin_texts

Please let me know if you need my help to follow this steps.
Regards,
Carlos

Hi,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Regards,
Carlos
