Background of the issue:
I am trying to send mails in the main language, which is German. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I followed up on this issue here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/germanized-sends-out-emails-with-wrong-langauge/. Our solution was to pick some strings, re-validate them and save them.
This worked for the mails I re-validated.
Symptoms:
Some mails are sent in German, while others are sent in English. I found many more strings that need to be re-validated, but I can't manually re-validate thousands of strings.
Questions:
Is there a way to somehow 'refresh' the strings?
examples would be "Cancellation" and "Invoice".
It works when I re-validate the Mails like mentioned in the last Ticket.
Problem is I dont know which strings and mails are affected and when opening the string translations it seems like all the strings are affected.
I just want some way to automatically refreshing all the strings instead sitting there, opening every string and waiting 1-2 seconds for them to "remember" that they are already there.
I have tried but seems it does not happen on the test site where we reproduced the issue last time. For me correct translated email is sent, so this might me something else and not the same issue.
Please check and see if you can get same issue: hidden link
thanks, does that mean it works fine on sanbdox site? Please confirm.
If yes, then the issue is not the same as the one you reported first, and probably something else is causing the issue for your specific website / case, and we need to check it out.
Please let me know, and prepare a staging site and share steps on how can we can check the issue.
Thanks,
Drazen
