Tell us what you are trying to do?
I try to implement a language switcher in the style of the heading, but the background is always black and the hover of the languages is white...how can I fix that?
Is there any documentation that you are following?
no
Is there a similar example that we can see?
not yet...I wopuld have to activate it again, but I can give you admin rights
What is the link to your site?

I would need some more information to better understand your situation, could you please tell me which language switcher are you using (the default one or a custom language switcher)?
* Feel free to send any image/video that could better demonstrate the issue you are having.
From the description, it seems to be an issue related to CSS styling, different themes have different styles applied and sometimes happens that the WPML Language Switcher CSS styles are overwritten from the theme styles.
Would it be possible for you to provide any image/video showing the issue or any staging site where I can see the issue you are having?

Here you can see what happens when I integrate the default language switcher as dropdown in header menu...It is black instead of the main menu style, and the hover is strange...
Thank you for the screenshots and explanations regarding the issue.
From the images it seems that the CSS styling of the language switcher is being overwritten somehow. I would need to inspect the language switcher on your website to see what is happening. There might be some custom CSS coding needed to fix the issue.

I might be able to check the issue further and see what is going on with the language switcher styling if you could activate the language switcher on your website.
Please mind that, as mentioned before, given the nature of the support forum we can’t provide custom coding work.
