This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to display templates in Spanish on their website after translating them from English using WPML. Specifically, the templates on the video pages and sidebar menus were not visible in Spanish, showing empty spaces instead.
Solution:
We identified that the categories used in the templates were not translated. We navigated to WPML > Settings > Taxonomies Translation > Categories (category) and configured it as "Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language". After applying these settings, the templates began displaying correctly in Spanish. We asked the client to verify by checking the page at https://cartercullold.wpenginepowered.com/es/videos/.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
