Background of the issue:
I am using the WPML plugin to manage translations on my WordPress site. I have successfully translated the homepage into multiple languages using WPML and can see these translations in the editor.

Symptoms:
Although the translations appear correctly in the editor, when I try to view the translated homepages on the front end, they redirect to pages that do not exist.

Questions:
Why do the translated homepages redirect to non-existent pages on the front end?
How can I fix the issue of redirection to non-existent pages for translated homepages?

Also, your system says I need to update my plugins but there is no option to do so...

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please go to Pages-> All pages, switch the language from the top admin bar language switcher, and make sure that the translated home pages are published, not drafts.

Best regards,
Osama

Someone had redirected our Spanish and German pages for reasons unknown. Thanks!
