This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to translate customer emails to Spanish using the 'Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce' plugin. Even after translating an email template and duplicating the English version, the Spanish version does not send when the customer uses the Spanish website.

Solution:
We recommend checking if the 'Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce' plugin is on our compatibility list, which it currently is not: WPML compatibility list. If the issue persists after translation, it might be related to the plugin's internal functionality. We suggest contacting the plugin author to request a compatibility update with WPML. Developers can find useful information on making their themes/plugins compatible here: WPML support for developers and achieving WPML compatibility for themes and plugins. Additionally, theme and plugin authors can join the WPML's Go Global program to work with our compatibility team: Go Global program.

Please note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket: WPML support forum.

I am trying to translate the customer emails to Spanish but I can not do it.

Even my developers could not help me with this. I need your help.

I translated one email and duplicated the english version template but it did not send that version when the customer used the Spanish website.

Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

It seems the plugin follows a bit of a different workflow. Did you create the templates as described by the authors here? hidden link

Best Regards
Marcel

Hi,

I don’t have the ”Email Customizer” tool. Where can I find it on the dashboard? Or is it a plugin that I need to install??

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support, I am assigned this ticket.

You're probably using "Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce" for the said purpose. If this is correct, then please note that the said plugin isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=Email+Template+Customizer+for+WooCommerce&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search).

If you can translate the email templates but can't send out successfully, then perhaps it is related to plugin's internal functionality. I recommend you to contact the plugin author and request a compatibility update. WPML offers very useful information for developers aiming to make their themes/plugins compatible. Please see https://wpml.org/documentation/support/ and https://wpml.org/documentation/support/achieving-wpml-compatibility-for-your-themes-and-plugins/ for details.

Theme and plugin authors are welcome to join WPML’s Go Global program, which helps them make their code multilingual ready. Together with WPML’s compatibility team, they can test and confirm that their theme or plugin works with WPML. See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/ for details and you can refer your theme/plugin provider to this as well.

Regards.
