Hi Kor.

Thank you.

IMPORTANT!
Please respond to my ask for a compensation? I have been asking that now 4 times, and I am paying for a product with errors and I am wasting too much time because of it.

Time is money, and I have hade 2 WPML errors till now, and I have been using time in helping finding the errors + I have been wasting time turning WPML on/off to be able to run my webshop.

Compensation could just be 1 year free WPML or something like that.

Regards Michael

Thanks for your reply. I will check with my superior to see if we can offer compensation in translation credits for the time you’ve lost. In the meantime, our 2nd Tier Support team is investigating the issue.

Also, could you please share the updated WP admin access here, just in case we find a workaround that we can apply directly for you?

Hi Kor.

1.
Do your team have a solution to the error in WPML that we are affected by?

This is case is old now, and we are suffering from it. Please make progress faster.

2.
I would like to have a compensation for the inconvienience from the errors in WPML. We are paying money for your software and would like to have a amount of money back as the software are disturbing our webshops performance.

I have written about this before. Pleas act.

Thank you.

Regards Michael

Thanks for your patience. I have some feedback, and the issue is caused by this option, "Auto sign-in and sign-out users from all domains" in WPML > Languages is NOT enabled. Enabling this option will allow you to view translated pages without issues.

Could you try? Once you confirm that the issue is fixed, I will check with my superior regarding the compensation.

One more thing, once you've enabled the "Auto sign-in and sign-out users from all domains" option, please log out and in again and then, retest.

Hi Kor,

Thank you for that. I have tested it now, and it doesn't work. Here’s what I did:

1. I turned on the function you described.
2. Logged out of WordPress, closed the browser, and restarted it to access our shop.
3. I tested by clicking on an eye on an element in a UXBlock. The error appeared immediately; the difference now is that the error is in Danish, whereas it was in Spanish before.
4. I changed the name of the element, as done before, and saved it. That made a difference, it worked like before, but there was still Spanish text in both the Danish column and the Spanish column (!). Not good I think.
5. I closed the page and tried again, and the error came back, just like before.

You can easily test it on our site. Just log in, go to UXBlocks, and click on an eye on an element.

I really look forward to getting this issue resolved, very soon.

Also nice that you have contaced someone to give us a compensation. Much needed. This is annoing - and it takes to much time.

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Michael

Hi Kor.

Great! Now it works, no error when pressing the eye.

What did you change?

We have a possible new error, or else I misunderstand it. I wrote about it a bit earlier. It is: left and right colluns in the WPML window that comes after pressing the eye are both in spanish language. They are not totally equal in text, but almost, and the danish in left side is not danish.

I guessed tha left should be danish and right should be spanish.

Please see, and tell me if this is right? - and if yes, please help me understand why it is so?

Regards Michael

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "They are not totally equal in text, but almost, and the danish in left side is not danish.". Could you elaborate? Or could you share some screenshots?

Hi Kor.

1.
It is the grey translations window that I am talking about. You know it.

When I reported the error was after the other error was solved, I looked for an item in UXBlocks with an eye and there was only one, the My account widget. I clicked at the eye on that item and got spanish text in both left and right sides. There should be danish in left side.

To day when answering you, I clicked on an other item in UXBlock not with an eye, a menu item, and that item opended op fine with danish left and spanish right.

To day when I clicks on the eye besides My account widget I get a new error. The item is already beeing worked on by an other person, and the grey page with left/right does not appear, only the error.

Please test with My account widget in UXBlock at our site. Please make WPML understand that the status is wrong. We are not working on anything in WPML.

When the lock is free, then click on the eye efter My account widget and see if the error with spanish/spanish still persists, or it is now ok and danish/spanish.

You have access to our site.

Looking very much forward to having no problems with WPML.

2.
What is the answer to the question abaout comepsation for have beening without WPML in function for so long time, and still paying for it, plus for a lot of mine time?

Regards Michael

Thanks for your reply. I’ve not made any changes to your website since 8 August, as noted in my response here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translated-page-cannot-be-viewed/?paged=2#post-17306092

Regarding your answer for #1, are you referring to the language view in the Advanced Translation Editor, as shown in the attached screenshot, with Danish on the left and Spanish on the right?

Also, REST API is now showing “No” here: hidden link. You’ll need to contact your hosting provider about this, as it’s causing issues listed in the error logs here: hidden link

I’ve edited the My Account widget in UXBlock and successfully completed the translation, as shown in the attached screenshot.

As for the compensation, we can discuss this once all issues on your end are resolved. Sorry for the trouble.

Your Website is in maintenance mode now. Are you working on something over there?

Hi Kor.

Yes I think you hit the site when I was running a repair. It is running again and ready for you.

If you did not change anything at our site the last 22 days, then the error proberly came from 8 plugin updates I made to day.

After deactivating and activating cache, the site is fine again.

Please go in now.

Thank you!
