Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and I want to translate a Divi global theme builder layout.
Symptoms:
I cannot find the Divi global theme builder layout under translation management.
Questions:
How can I translate a Divi global theme builder layout using WPML?
Why is the Divi global theme builder layout not appearing in translation management?
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me a lot of information about how your site is configured.
Thanks for your reply. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
This is the hidden link">header template (All Blog Category Pages EN) you use. Please translate it and check if the translation appears correctly on the front end.
1) I edited the header template via Divi-> Theme Builder to change its name to "All Blog Category Pages EN", so I can identify it when I go to all header templates.
2) Please use the search field to search for the links. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
Why I get the attached message to apply all markers? I copied the text from the original and after that only translated the language between the markers? thks.
Yes it does. I also did this now for the Dutch translation and retyped the whole text in stead of copying it from the English language and that worked.
However I still have some links at the bottom of the page which I can't find.
Also I tried to find it with these links:
Footer: yourdomain/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=et_footer_layout
