This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to see the tabs section for translation using WPML on a WordPress page that uses a plugin to create a tabbed blog grid by category. Additionally, when attempting to translate the page to Spanish, all formatting is lost.
Solution:
We recommend enabling the translations for the specific post types used by your tabbed blog grid. You can do this in the WPML settings under 'Post Types Translation'. Once enabled, you should create a new translated version of the show in your desired language. After creating the translated show, edit the translated page and replace the 'smart_post_show' ID with the ID of the new translated show.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I have created a page on my WordPress site where blogs are accessed by category in tabs. I am trying to translate this page using WPML, but the tabs section does not show up for translation. I am using a plugin from hidden link to create the tabbed blog grid.

Symptoms:
When I click on translate to Spanish, I lose all formatting on the page.

Questions:
Why does the tabs section not show up for translation with WPML?
How can I maintain the formatting when translating the page to Spanish?

Thanks for contacting us.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked and it looks like you'll need to translate the shows here hidden link . I've enabled the translations here in WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation hidden link as shown in the attached screenshot.

Could you please try translating the shows by creating a new show for your translated language? Then, edit the translated page here hidden link and replace the smart_post_show ID.
