This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client noticed automatic translation credits were active on their WPML account and requested to disable any automatic translation billing and ensure no future charges.
Solution:
We explained that WPML does not automatically charge for translations unless the client activates Pay As You Go (PAYG) or buys pre-paid credits. To prevent any unintended charges, we recommended the following steps:
1. Verify that none of the registered websites have PAYG activated by checking in WPML > Translation Dashboard > Tools.
2. Ensure that "Translate Everything Automatically" is deactivated on all websites.
These steps will help avoid any accidental charges related to automatic translations.

Dear WPML Support,
I noticed that automatic translation credits are active on my WPML account, and I want to make it clear that this was not my intention.
I manage multiple websites for clients, and some clients also work on their own websites. I do not want automatic translations to be charged to my account, because I cannot be responsible for translation costs generated by different users and websites.
Therefore, I would like to request the following:
Disable automatic translation credits on my account
Disable any pay-as-you-go or automatic billing for translation credits
Ensure that no automatic translation costs can be charged to my account in the future
I only want to use manual translations and the WPML Translation Editor without any automatic translation costs.
Could you please confirm that automatic translation billing is disabled for my account?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Myriam

Hello,
Thank you for your explanation.
I will disable the Pay-As-You-Go option on the websites. However, I want to make it clear that I never approved automatic translation billing or credits on my account, and I will not pay for automatic translations.
I manage websites for clients, and clients may work on their websites themselves. If they want to use automatic translation, they can activate and pay for this themselves, but this should not be linked to my account or billed to me.
Please make sure that no automatic translation costs or credits can be charged to my account without my explicit approval.
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards,
Myriam

Hey there Myriam,

When you add a website to your account, it automatically receives 2000 credits for free, that can be used for automatic translation. Perhaps that's why you had some credits being used in the first place.

WPML won't charge you for auto translations, unless you actively activate Pay As You Go on a website, or when you buy pre-paid credits. This does not happen automatically, and has to explicitly done by the client.

For you to rest assured, please check the information below:

1. Make sure that none of your registered websites is using Pay As You Go. You can check that in WPML > Translation Dashboard > Tools. It shows on the very top if you have PAYG activated;

2. Make sure that you have "Translate Everything Automatically" deactivated on all websites. Auto translation won't occur if you don't have any credits or PAYG active, but it's best to make sure;

With that, you won't have any accidents. Let me know if you have any other questions.
