This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate all strings for an email sent to a customer, but the translation does not apply to the email title and subject, although it works for the body of the email.
Solution:
We recommend checking the profile language of the account used to create the booking. You can find this setting by navigating to Users-> Profile-> Language in your WordPress dashboard. If the profile language is set to anything other than Site Default, please change it to Site Default and create a new booking.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, please check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi,

It's better to debug the issue while only the problematic plugins are activated.

However, you can run the troubleshooting functions on the staging site and check if that would fix the issue.

Please go to WPML-> Support-> Troubleshooting and run the functions one by one. (hidden link)

Hi,

I just did a test in "Stripe test mode" and It worked smoothly. I did a purchase and get the message fully in french.

In fact the issue only happens when I create a booking manually.

Any ideas?

PS: I followed the troubleshooting process but It didn't fix it.

Hi,

Please let me know the profile language of your account that you use to create the booking. You can find it in Users-> Profile-> Language.

If you find it anything other than French, please set it to French and try again.

It was set to english. I switched it to french but get the same issue when i created a new booking manually.

Hi,

On the sandbox, the issue happens when the profile language is English or French, but it doesn't occur when the profile language is "site's default language".

Would you please try that on your staging site?

Hi,

After selecting "site's default language" and saving it, it shows French in the field. Is it normal?

Anyway, I did a test again, and I still have the issue: the body is in French, and the subject and email template title are in English.

Hi,

I did the test on stagging site.

- Cloudflare is not connecting to the staging site
- I cleared the cache
- I deactivated WP Rocket

I created manually a new booking.

I got the same error.

Maybe you can do your test on the staging site?

Because it's a stagging site, you can do what you want; I don't care. At the end of your test, I will copy the production site to the staging site.
