Hello There,

The website was built with Divi Child Theme so I am trying to translate footer and menu of the website. I saved section used on the Menu as Global to Divi Library, I have scan all string changes and found the correct "page-builder-shortcode-strings".

When I have changed this strings include url, I am getting error named "Translation Update Failed".

Also when I revert all sticky urls to permalink url on the Sticky Links, it doesn't work. All links still with the "/?page_id="

What is the issue I am facing with?

Hello there,

Welcome to WPML support. I'd be happy to help you with this.

You shouldn't translate strings with "page-builder-shortcode-strings" using WPML->String Translations, this will not work and is not recommended.

I suggest you translate as mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/divi-builder/#translating-divi-custom-layouts

Regarding the sticky links, can you follow the steps as mentioned here and see if it helps? https://wpml.org/errata/divi-sticky-links-arent-converted-to-permalinks-when-used-in-divi-theme-builder/

Further, are you using the latest versions of WPML plugins?
- Which version of PHP/MYSQL are you using?

You can easily send this information using the Debug information settings from WPML.

Could you please go to WPML > Support > Debug Information and give me the information in the next reply? You can read the detailed instructions here:
http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
