[Resolved] Translation Management Page not apppearing
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing a blank page when trying to access the Translation Management section in WPML, it might be due to issues with the plugin installation or migration process. Solution: We recommend reinstalling the WPML plugin. After reinstallation, if a migration banner appears, set your site as a copy site and complete the migration process. This should resolve the issue and the Translation Management board should start working properly. For more details on using the Advanced Translation Editor after moving or using a copy of your site, please visit this documentation.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
If you don't know how to do that, please I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
I've reinstalled WPML plugin on your site then there is a migration banner showing up. I set the site as a copy site and completed the migration process. Now the Translation Management board is working properly.
Thank you! This is looking allot better than it was.
Now let me add this.
Thsi is our development site hidden link
When we launch, this development site will become. We will just update the DNS to launch this site. The production address will be hidden link.
At that point what should our steps be for making sure that the WPML license is updated correctly. Right now there are two licenses, one for each of the domains mentioned above.
Let me know. Thank you
