How can we translate a static page with projects? It is not displayed in the list of all pages and it is not entirely clear how to translate it. hidden link
You can use the get text approach for any PHP content you wish to translate. You can wrap any kind of content (text, links) and translate via WPML string translation as explained in the shared documentation.
Example:
$url = __( '<em><u>hidden link</u></em>', 'my-domain' );
printf(
esc_html__( 'By clicking on "Create an account" below, you are agreeing to the %sTerms of service%s', 'my-domain' ),
'<a href="' . $url . '">',
'</a>'
);
As for different language templates, you can use that but make sure to disable the option "Synchronize page template" from WPML > Settings > Posts and pages synchronization.
Even though the first approach is correct and recommended you are free to use approach that suit you, For example:
hidden link hidden link
here are 2 pages.
on the second page, through the editor, I changed the text to a second language.
This text became 2 pages.
Everything I write on one page ends up on the second page.
how to change this?
I'm here to offer further assistance with this matter.
After reviewing the secondary pages, I couldn't identify any instances of duplicate content. Could you kindly share a few screenshots illustrating how you are managing the translation process and how the content is currently being displayed? This additional information will allow me to provide more precise guidance.
To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.
So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link
