This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client's translation process has been stuck on 'Translation in progress!' since yesterday after scanning plugin and template folders for strings to translate into German, with a memory limit of 2048 MB.
Solution:
We recommend updating the WPML plugin and its add-ons to the latest version, 4.6.13, to ensure you are working with the most recent bug fixes and improvements. You can download the latest versions from My Account -> Downloads on our site. Instructions for updating can be found here.

Additionally, if you are operating a multilingual shop with WooCommerce, ensure that the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin is enabled.

After updating, navigate to WPML → Translations, locate the job with the strings, take it, and proceed to translate. Ensure you have added yourself as a translator, which can be done here.

If the issue persists:
1. Go to WPML → Translation Management.
2. Navigate to WPML → Jobs.
3. Cancel all pending jobs.
4. Return to the "Dashboard" tab in WPML → Translation Management.
5. Send one page that is "stuck" or the strings from WPML → String Translation that do not belong to a package for translation.

Please ensure to back up your database before making these changes.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the strings are still in progress.

To begin, please update your WPML plugin and its add-ons to the latest version, 4.6.13, to benefit from the most recent bug fixes and improvements. While this may not resolve your issue immediately, it is essential to work with the newest code for effective troubleshooting.

The latest versions are available for download under "My Account -> Downloads" on our site. Instructions for updating can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/.

I also noticed that you haven't enabled the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin. This plugin is necessary to operate a multilingual shop with WooCommerce.

After completing the updates, navigate to WPML → Translations, locate the job with the strings, take it, and proceed to translate.

Make sure to add yourself as a translator before accessing this link: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-admin-capabilities/#add-translator.

If you still encounter problems, please try the following steps:

Please remember to back up your database before proceeding.

Thank you very much for your response! I just updated the entire plugin, but it still didn’t work. I don’t see any "Job" menu under WPML → Translation Management or WPML → Jobs, so I’m unsure how to cancel the jobs. I can’t modify them manually either, as only a gear icon appears, and I can't take any actions.

Is there a way to cancel everything? Do you need access to take a look yourself?

Thanks again, and have a lovely day!
