Subject: Tutor LMS Pro emails not translating to user language (known errata issue)
Hello WPML Support Team,
Account email: BryanProductsCentral@gmail.com
Website: pilatescertificationonline.com
Plan: Multilingual CMS (€99, purchased ~2 weeks ago)
Staging site (development): hidden link
Issue Description
Tutor LMS Pro email notifications (welcome, enrollment, progress, quiz results, certificate) are always sent in English (site default language), even when:
User is viewing the site in a secondary language (e.g., Korean → /ko/)
Strings are manually translated in String Translation (e.g., "Welcome to Tutor LMS" translated to Korean)
Browser language detection is enabled and site content switches correctly
Is there a current workaround (code hook for wp_mail, tutor_email_before_send, or other filter to force locale switch based on user cookie/meta or browser language)?
What is the expected timeline for a fix from Tutor LMS developers?
Any additional scanning/template override recommendations for Tutor dynamic email strings?
Can you test on staging? If yes, we can provide temporary admin access (limited user created for support only).
Authorization
Our web developer Irfan Arif is handling the setup and testing. Please CC him on all replies: irfanarif2318@gmail.com
We formally authorize Irfan to communicate directly with you on this account and provide any technical details/screenshots needed.
Attachments (upload these):

Screenshot of a received Tutor email still in English
Screenshot of page source (no GTranslate remnants)

Thank you for your help — emails in user's language are critical for our global students.
Best regards,

I assume you followed the guide on working with Tutor LMS and WPML: hidden link.
If this is the case and things still do not work for you, we need to check whether there is a regression (old known issue) or a new issue with the translations of emails sent by the Tutor LMS plugin when using it with WPML. Then I'll be able to escalate it to our compatibility team. To do this, I created a test website with a clean WordPress installation. You can access it through this link:

With this link, you'll be directly logged in.
I already installed WPML and configured it to have English as the default language and French and Korean as the secondary languages. String translation is also installed. In addition, I also installed the free version of Tutor LMS.
Could you please install the Titor LMS Pro plugin and see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation?
Please also make sure that you are installing the latest version of the plugin.
When everything is finished, and you can replicate the problem, please let us know. Important! Do not import your site to the test site. We must replicate the problem on a fresh, clean WordPress installation.
After reviewing the credit costs (€420-700+ for our site)
and confirming Tutor LMS email translation is a known
unresolved issue, WPML does not meet our needs.
I've submitted a refund request as we're within the
30-day window.
