This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using a staging site and has encountered two notifications after setting it up. The first notification is about mapping the default language for automatic translation, and the second is about WPML detecting a new address for the site.

Solution:
For the first notification regarding the default language, the client should ensure that the default language (English) is correctly mapped to a supported language in WPML -> Languages settings.

For the second notification about the site address change, on the staging site, the client should select "Yes, this is a copy" to indicate that the original site is still running. In the subsequent step, the client can decide whether to share credits for automatic translation with the staging site.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that the latest versions of themes and plugins are installed. If the problem persists, the client should open a new support ticket for further assistance at our support forum.

Hi

I actually asked about it before but I want to completely handle it now

In this reply #15324757 I was given a link to related tickets but I could not understand which of them is really similar to my issue so please just tell me what exactly should I do.

For my site hosting I use Hostinger which has a Staging option. And I enabled it. Hostinger just creates a new subdomain for staging purposes, so I choes this: stage.turkmenexporter.com.

The reason I want to use the staging site is to make changes on my site on staging subdomain and then publish it on live site. I don't want to make any changes directly on the live site.

So I have created a stage site on stage.turkmenexporter.com and also registered it here https://wpml.org/account/sites/

and inserted key for stage.turkmenexporter.com on it's site

but I have two notifications that I don't understand. I made a screenshot. Please tell me what exactly should I do in these two cases

To be more specific:

The first notification is:

First:

"Your default language, English, must be mapped to a supported language in order to use automatic translation."

When I click on it, it takes me to WPML -> Languages page where my languages table if depicted

What exactly should I do in this first notification?

Second:

"WPML detected a new address for this site
Looks like this site was previously at hidden link and now it’s at hidden link.

Do you still have the same site running at hidden link?

Yes/This is only a copy - original site is still running

No/I changed the address of the site to this new one"

What exactly should I choose YES or NO?

Hello,

Those banners are expected when a site is getting migrated.

On the Staging Site please use "Yes, this is a copy" and in the second step decide, if you want to share your credits for automatic translation on this site.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas
