This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to activate the WPML plugin on your website but are unable to do so. The button to modify the certificate or unsubscribe is missing from the plugin's commercial tab.
Solution:
1. First, ensure that your hosting provider whitelists the following domains to allow WPML to connect properly:

  • wpml.org
  • cdn.wpml.org
  • api.wpml.org
  • api.toolset.com
  • cloudfront.net

2. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WPML to check if there is a conflict causing the issue. Make sure to back up your database before proceeding.
3. For more detailed guidance, refer to our FAQ on connection issues at WPML Plugin Cannot Connect to WPML.org.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to connect the WPML plugin to wpml.org on our website hidden link. I attempted to install the most recent version of WPML from our account, but I can't activate it. The inscription button to modify the certificate or unsubscribe did not appear in the plugin's commercial tab. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link. For information, we use these versions: WordPress: 6.7.2, WPML Multilingual CMS: 4.6.15, WPForms Multilingual: 0.4.1, WPML CMS Nav: 1.5.5, WPML String Translation: 3.2.18, Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual: 2.1.4.2.

Symptoms:
I can't activate the WPML plugin. The inscription button to modify the certificate or unsubscribe did not appear in the plugin's commercial tab.

Questions:
Is this what the plugin's update is about?
Should I delete this OTG folder /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/otgs/installer/installer.php and install the new verison of it ?
Could you help me please?

Yes, you can manually update the plugins. First, deactivate them, delete the old versions, then upload the new ones, and finally activate them.

Please remember to back up your database before proceeding.

Thank you again for your reply.

This is the error : wpml: Connection error: Unable to get data from service. Detailed error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 92749 milliseconds.

Referring to this instruction https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/, I should ask for assistance from our hosting provider.

Before moving on to this step, I will first test the plugins' update.

Thank you.

One more important step to test. Please temporarily deactivate all plugins except WPML to check the issue. This ensures that third-party plugins do not affect this behavior.

Remember to backup your database before you proceed.
