Hello there,

Since I couldn't find a solution for this problem, as I pointed out, I had to escalate your case to our 2nd tier for further debugging.

Our 2nd tier team is still in the process of investigating this issue. I'm afraid I don't have news this time to share.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them regarding this issue.

We thank you for your patience while this is being investigated.

Hello there,

Our 2nd tier team identified an issue with ATE not recognizing the new content in the page after we try to translate it for the 2nd time.

We have reported it to our ATE team to try to find a solution for this issue.

We apologize for the time it is taking, the issue turned out to be more complex than we initially thought.

I'll keep you posted during the whole process.

Thank you.

Hello Louise,

Thank you for your patience while we investigated it.

We've identified a specific behavior in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) that affects the updating of translations when the translated string is identical to the original. This issue is somewhat unique and difficult to track.

Here's a brief overview of the findings:

- The issue arises when you attempt to update a translation to make it identical to the original text. In such cases, the system does not correctly recognize the update, leading to the issues you've experienced.
- Our initial testing in various environments, including local setups and sandboxes, indicated that this problem is specific to certain conditions involving the ATE's handling of unchanged translations.

Workaround:

Until a fix is released, please slightly alter the translated text from the original when re-entering it in the ATE. This should ensure updates are recognized and applied correctly.

Next Steps:

Our development team is actively working on a permanent solution, and we'll update you as soon as it's available.

If you have further concerns or need assistance, feel free to reach out.

Best,
Mateus
