This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate a page into French using WPML, but nothing is displayed on the website. This issue is due to an incompatibility between Royal Elementor Addons and WPML.
Solution:
The problem occurs in the

\WprAddons\Classes\Utilities::get_template_slug

function within the

wp-content/plugins/royal-elementor-addons/classes/utilities.php

file. Royal Addons is attempting to find a non-existent template, which leads to a NULL return. To resolve this, access your database, locate the 'wpr_single_conditions' option in the WordPress Options table, and delete its value. After making this change, the issue should be resolved.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello,

In your example, I can see that even the English original content is not showing up.

Do I understand right that the original content shows up if you disable WPML?

It would also be very helpful if you could send us the WPML information for troubleshooting.
More information about this here:

Hello,

Could you please increase your WP Memory limit to 256M? 128M is the minimum required by WPML.
Your current values are:

PHP Memory Limit 512M
WP Memory Limit 40M
Add this code to your wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Paste it just before:

/ That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. /

Now, verify the current settings at WPML > Support > WordPress. Then complete the translation again.

These settings can be limited directly by your hosting provider, so I recommend you contact and ask them to modify them directly.
If you can get even higher values It would be great.

https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
Note: WPML needs a minimum WP Memory limit of 128M to work only under a minimal environment, which means, with a default theme and no other plugins installed.

If this will still not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

I would like to offer to have a closer look at the problem and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate this issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to make a backup copy of the website and database before allowing us access.
If you can't see the wp-admin / FTP fields, your post and website credentials are set as PUBLIC. DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may have to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to make a copy of the website where I can investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server yourself for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Just take note that WPML should be registered on this site again.

If you are unable to provide such a copy of the site for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

The private response form looks like this:

Next time you reply, click "I still need assistance."

Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We may not access any access information not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form.

Best regards
Andreas

This seems to be an issue between Royal Elementor Addons and WPML.

Take note, that this plugin is currently not compatible with WPML.

https://wpml.org/compatibility/2021/08/the-best-elementor-addons-for-multilingual-sites/
(See less recommended Elementor Addons)

We have been recently working with the author who added some compatibility code to its plugin to make it work with WPML.

In this case, right now, I need to investigate further, what exactly is causing the issue and I need to ask you for some patience.

Hello,

I tried to replicate the issue on a test site importing your "About us" page and tested with the Royal Elementor Kit Theme, Elementor, Royal Addons for Elementor, and WPML.

The issue does not occur on this test site.

I then downloaded the All In One WP Migration from your site and installed it on localhost and the issue persists.

I can find JavaScript errors when trying to find the content.

The issue even persists if I duplicate the "About us" page so that it gets a new page ID, and delete all its widgets.

Even trying to create a new page triggers the same error as long as the plugin Royal Addons for Elementor is enabled together with WPML.

I need some more time to investigate the problem and will get back to you tomorrow.

Best regards
Andreas

My apologies, but I still was not able to find out what is causing the issue on your site.

You can use the following link to revise the page on a test site that uses the same theme and plugins, and the issue does not occur here. I would like to invite you to connect yourself and try to recreate the issue:

Maybe there is a setting used on your site that I am still missing on this setup?

A question:
Could it be that the contents of your website were imported from another website?

If so, then the reason for the error could be missing Royal Addons Templates and Template conditions:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-the_content-2/

Any additional information would be helpful in this case as I am stuck and not able to confirm a similar issue on a new WordPress install using the same plugins and configs.

On my local copy of your website, the issue appears to be solved by editing the original Elementor page in Elementor Safe Mode and saving the page again.

Hello,

I have the issue here, that I can not recreate the issue on a new test site so far. I will now escalate this issue internally so that our compatibility team can have a closer look into this issue.

Take note, this issue disappears not only if you disable WPML. It also disappears if you disable Royal Addons for Elementor and I see that such issues have already been reported a few times to the Royal Addons team.

Maybe you should consider replacing this addon with one of our recommended addons for Elementor:
https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/page-builders-addons/elementor-add-ons/

Best regards
Andreas
