I am developing a new page under the templates section. This page contains a carousel widget - not the elementor one - which has images but the images on the translated version do not appear.

Hello,

WPML by default supports all widgets that are shipped with Elementor and Elementor Pro.

Until now, every Custom Elementor Widget must have an XML configuration so that it can be translated using the WPML Translation Editor.

Our latest beta version for WPML 4.9 includes a new feature that should automatically recognize such custom widgets, in case they are missing a proper XML configuration.

Please take a backup of your site, includingthe database, and then update our beta versions for:
- WPML Multilingual CMS
- WPML String Translation
- WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce

How to install beta versions:
https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-install-beta-and-development-versions-of-wpml/

After running the updates, edit the original page in Elementor and save it again, so that WPML can recognize the widget. Then update the translation.

If this does not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Please take a backup of your site and database, and make sure that all components (theme, all plugins) of the site are updated.

I suggested earlier to install the beta versions for:
- WPML Multilingual CMS
- WPML String Translation
- WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce

How to install beta versions:
https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-install-beta-and-development-versions-of-wpml/

After that, edit the original content, save it, and then complete the translation again.

If this does not solve the issue, please let us know.
