We will continue troubleshooting this issue together.
I would require a copy of your website to test it locally and further escalate the issue if needed.
You can use the Duplicator plugin(https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) in order to create a copy of your website, and upload the backup on a file sharing website (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), please send me the link to download the backup after.
* Please try to minimize the size of the backup file by excluding unnecessary media files or backup folders that might be in the "/wp-content/" folder.
I’ve set your next reply as private in order for you to provide the backup link.
Great! As requested, here are the two duplicator files: hidden link
I had to restore the backup from before you reproduced the issue and broke the site on the live site since I cannot have a broken website while we run a live TV ad so if you could please debug using the duplicator files! This is also very urgent so I appreciate your quick reply. Thanks in advance.
It seems like it worked for the most part! Thank you so much. There's just buttons on the English home page (visible only on mobile or in Divi's editor) that don't appear in the translation editor and are in english on the french version... It's the stacked ones that say "pickup order" and the three "delivery order" ones. Why are some things like this not showing up and being translated? Also, what was the issue more broadly so I avoid it in the future? What does it mean to reset languages (i noticed nothing got lost)?
Happy to hear that the suggestion worked out for you.
I checked your website before (desktop/mobile) version and it seemed that everything was working correctly.
The issue might have been caused due to any corruption on the translations as when we tested it wasn't showing any languages(they were showing blank).
The "Reset Languages" option in WPML's Troubleshoot section was designed to reset the language configuration and data in WPML.
When you use the "Reset Languages" option, it typically does the following:
-Clears Language Configuration
-Resets Language Directories
-Removes Language Switcher Settings
-Deletes Translation Data (not in every case)
Let me know if you have any more questions or need further assistance,
Marsel
