This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client faced two issues: 1) The multilingual language switcher was positioned at the bottom of the page instead of the header. 2) Four translated pages did not display their forms correctly, and these forms were not visible in the translation management page. Additionally, there were no updates available, and WordPress support could not resolve the issue.
Solution:
For the language switcher issue, we added the language switcher block to the Front Page Template. More details on adding language switchers can be found here: Language Switcher Options.
Regarding the translation issue, it was due to a block encoded in base24, which WPML could not translate. We resolved this by updating to WPML version 4.9.3 and WPML String Translation version 3.5.2. The client was advised to update these plugins by checking for updates under 'WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)' and then clicking the 'Check for Updates' button. Detailed update instructions are available here: Automated Updates. After updating, the client needed to send the Front Page for translation again and complete the translation process.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.

Hi, Welcome to WPML support. Would you please provide the debug information so we understand which site details you are talking about? https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support If you have a footer language switcher, you can turn it off by doing the following steps: - Go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Languages > Footer Language switcher Screenshot: If you want to have a header language switcher, you can do that by enabling the menu language switcher. - Go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Languages > Menu Language Switcher. For more detailed information: For the second one, you will need to give more detailed information, including the link to the page with the problem. Note: If the page is not translated, the language switcher will not show if you select the Skip language option in WordPress Dashboard> WPML > Languages Thanks. |

Hello, Thank you. What I found is that it seems the homepage is not translated yet, which is why the switcher does not show If you try to go to: hidden link You will see that it redirects to: hidden link That shows there is no Arabic equivalent of that English page. Please make sure that you complete the Homepage Arabic translation 100%. If the issue persists, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website. Make sure you set the next reply as private. |

Hi, You did not answer if you translated the homepage, and you did not provide the login information. I'd appreciate it if we could stay on the current issue to focus on and fix it. You can set the next reply as private. You are always welcome to open up a new ticket for additional questions. Just so I answer, yes WP Forms is compatible with WPML after installing the WP Forms Multilingual plugin. For more information: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/creating-multilingual-forms-using-wpforms-and-wpml/ Thanks. |

Hi, Thank you for the login information. The issue with the language switcher was that you didn't add the language switcher block to the Front Page Template. For more information: I added the language switcher there. The Template Front page is also not translated yet. When I try to translate it from WP Dashboard> WPML > Translation Dashboard > Templates > Front Page I get the attached error. It seems that you used a block that has a base24 encoding and WPML does not allow translating such blocks. I asked for a second opinion for that and will get back to you. The ticket can not be changed to a chat. You are welcome to open up a new chat here: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ For additonal questions. Thanks. |

Hi, We have released WPML version 4.9.3 and WPML String Translation version 3.5.2, which will fix the issue I mentioned before in the screenshot. Please follow the steps below to update: - IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website. For more information: After that, please do as follows: - Go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Translation Dashboard > Site Templates That will help to have the template translated to show the same design as the English version, also for Arabic. Thanks. |

Hello, - You are always welcome to open up a chat at any time. Please use this link to create one: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ If there is an active chat supporter, you will be redirected to the supporter. - The translation will be safe, so please proceed with the update as mentioned in the steps in the previous reply. - Before being able to address the other points you have mentioned, we need ot make sure that the front page template is translated as at the moment the Arabic version is using a completely different template and not the front page one which is used in English. I will wait for the completion of the WPML update so I can go forward and test. I'd appreciate it if you could inform me after the update. Thanks |

Hello, It seems that we talk past each other each time. You did not follow the steps I mentioned; that is why you see the same error. I checked and you did not update WPML to version 4.9.3 and that is why you see the error in question. I would be happy to do that for you but the login information you gave me does not work anymore. So lets recap: The reason you see the error you took the screenshot of, is that you do not have the latest version of WPML plugin. You need to update the plugin first, here are the steps: - IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website. For more information: After that, if you select the Front page template and send for translation, you should not get any errors. Please do not add additional problems as the main problem is not fixed yet, and that needs to be fixed to be able to go for the other ones. If you can not update please set the next reply as private, give me permission to update and give the logn information and I will do that for you. Regarding the Chat, the chat support is usually available during the European timezone. I will be happy to help as soon as I have the login information to update WPML. Thanks. |

Hello, Thank you for the login information. You had to click the "Check for updates" button in the steps that I shared with you. You did not do that and that is why it did not show the update. I updated WPML for you and it allowed me to send the Front Page template to translation. After the translation, the styling is now matching in both languages: hidden link Would you please confirm that it is ok on your side too? If yes then lets start investigating the other issues that you are experiencing. Thanks. |
