This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with WPML's Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) not being activated and errors when trying to use automatic translation. Despite following previous instructions, the problem persisted, and the client also encountered an error message when attempting to connect with WPML support.

Solution:
1) We asked the client to share the top three errors from the ATE error logs found under WPML->Support to better understand the issue.
2) We suggested unregistering and then re-registering the site from the WPML.ORG account:
- Unregister:

https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#unregister

- Register: strong>https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register
3) We recommended checking the "Installer Log" under WPML -> Support to ensure the subscription was working correctly.
4) We advised the client to ensure WPML is not blocked by a firewall and to whitelist the following domains:

  • wpml.org
  • cdn.wpml.org
  • api.wpml.org
  • api.toolset.com
  • cloudfront.net

More information can be found here:

https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/

5) After gaining temporary access to the client's site, we checked the WPML -> Settings and confirmed that the previous issue was resolved. We then asked the client to try completing a translation to see if the issue was fixed.

If the solution provided here is not relevant to your case, either because it's outdated or not applicable, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor is enabled but not activated. Go to WPML Translation Management Dashboard to resolve the issue.

I have tried several ways to fix that but unable to fix, please give a proper solution.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.

Can you please go to WPML->Support-> ATE error logs and share with me the top 3 errors you see logged?

This will help us understand what might be causing this behavior.

Looking forward to your reply,
Marsel

Hi,

I tried the above steps that you have told, but still it doesn't work.

One more thing i have checked, i was checking the settings option and found that i have selected to "Translation what you choose" but when i tried to select automatic translation then got an error. I have attached the screenshot for the same.

And in the Translation Editor getting error that translation is not working and a pop-up with my website id and connect with support-Wpml.

Please look into this and try to resolve this issue asap.

Waiting for your reply.

Thankyou.

Hi,

Thank you, I was able to access your website and I've checked on WPML -> Settings.
I see that the issue you shared before is not going on anymore (as you can check on the attached image).

Can you please try to complete one of the translations on WPML -> Translations?

Let me know if the issue persists on your end.
