Background of the issue:
I am trying to prevent the menu header/nav bar from changing back to English automatically on the translated versions of my site. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The header menu bar is auto-translated to the default language (English) every time I publish content, instead of staying in the translated language (German).
Questions:
How can I stop the menu header/nav bar from reverting to English automatically?
Is there a setting in WPML that controls the language of the header menu?

Thanks for your patience. I’ve checked your German header here: hidden link and I can see that each button is being created manually. Just to clarify, are you saying that changes made to the English version of the header are overwriting the German header?
Thats correct, so we translate the header to German, and about 24 hours after, it continues to go back to English and we don't know why it's doing this
