Problem: Faroese Posts and Pages showing the language as English
Solution: The issue has happened because the Posts and Pages are created in English instead of Faroese. As a workaround, change the language of post or page from Edit screen. Please choose *Faroese* as *Language of this page* field of *Language widget*(on the right side of the screen) and save the changes
Problem:
WooCommerce Product Slider Pro – Unable to translate the two Widget buttons
Solution:
Please note that this is a temporary workaround, so first check if you have the latest version of WPML and from your theme, then also make sure that you have followed the steps mentioned here to translate your strings: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/theme-localization/ before applying the workaround.
The issue happened because the plugin author is getting the texts from the database too early before WPML getting completely work, so to fix the issue please follow these steps:
- Please go to wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-slider/product-image-gallery-widget.php at line "76" and change the line "include 'classes/class-slider-backbone.php';" with
function slider_backbone(){
include 'classes/class-slider-backbone.php';
}
add_action( 'init','slider_backbone' );
and go to this file wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-slider/classes/class-slider-backbone.php at line 15, and add these two lines:
global $wc_product_slider_widget_skin_settings;
$wc_product_slider_widget_skin_settings = get_option( 'wc_product_slider_widget_skin_settings', array() );
Then please make sure that you have translated your texts
