Problem: When hovering over an image on a page translated into German, the default English image is displayed instead of the translated image. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation and set the post type "Carousel" to "Translatable - only show translated items". 2. Translate the Carousel or link the current Carousel that you created with the original one. You can follow this guide for assistance: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/ 3. Ensure that each Carousel uses its proper shortcode. Note that you will need to place each shortcode manually on each page. 4. If you use the Classic Translation Editor, you should be able to translate the shortcode directly. However, if you use the Advanced Translation Editor, translating such shortcode will require a workaround involving a code snippet.

Problem: The client is experiencing issues with the WPML plugin on their German-speaking site. The Translation Management is not saving changes, and when switching languages using the language flags, the site briefly shows German but reverts to English. Some text remains in German while the rest reverts to English, including older versions of text and missing capital letters in titles. Solution: We obtained access to the site and could not spot any content that was having an issue with its translation. The client did not provide any examples. Acording to our findings we recommended using the WordPress Editor only for the original content and then translating it using the WPML Translation Editor for each language. Avoid editing translations directly in the WordPress Editor as the WPML Translation Editor cannot recognize these changes and will overwrite them. If WPML is disabled, it is expected that duplicated pages will appear and be assigned to the site's default language, as WPML does not remove translated pages and posts by default.

Problem: The client is experiencing an issue where all 'saved' layouts from the media library are appearing in the translation list, even though this information is already on the pages, and they only show as not found when clicked. Solution: We recommend that the Translation Manager use the filter available in the Translation Manager interface. By selecting "Pages" from the "All Types" dropdown and clicking the 'Filter' button, they can view only the pages in the list. This method helps manage which content appears in the translation list, although it is not possible to control which post-type content is available to each Translation Manager.
